The customer was a leading UK based pension consultancy and service provider.
The challenge
The company had set up an initiative to provide the large employers in UK with pension review services. The volume of data, especially as paper was becoming a bottleneck for the company, was decreasing the number of cases being processed daily. The customer needed to:
Convert all paper information into electronic data to enable processing.
Increase turnaround time from collecting information to analysing it.
The solution
A dedicated team of processing professionals to analyse, extract and enter the data into a specially developed application. The customer scanned all the paper information daily through a high-speed scanner and transferred it through a secured link to our processing centre in India by late evening (India time). The processing team quickly disassembled the scanned images into files, extracted relevant information and data-entered the information into an application. The data was then transmitted through a secured link to the customer. The dedicated team used to work through the night time to ensure that the customer had all the data available to it by the next working day (UK time).
